Favorite Israel Experience: Leading Sinai Akiba Academy’s 8th-grade Israel trip for more than 15 years has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my career. Seeing Israel through the eyes of these teenagers as they discover our roots, history, heritage, archaeology, culture, and the richness of Jewish life makes each journey inspiring and unforgettable.

Favorite IsraelLINK Lesson: While every IsraelLINK unit is meaningful to me, my favorite is ”Israel and Me.” This unit gives students the opportunity to reflect on everything they have learned and consider what they will carry forward. I especially enjoy seeing how they express their personal connections to Israel, their evolving understanding of its history, culture, and people, and the meaningful ways Israel has become part of their own identity.
